We received a lot of feedback from our members and well wishers that some parts of our site were not inclusive! Last week, we made some changes. Now you can check out our new login page, an improved navigation bar, and the use of colours to aid people with low vision.
This is the first step that we have taken towards redesign. In the coming weeks you will see a lot more changes to help people with low vision navigate the site with ease. We would like to thank Srini for his insights on low vision design.
As the site grows by leaps and bounds, as more content and connections are made and shared, we feel that we need to prepare for a much more exciting future. Of course, we understand the recent changes may have caused some pain as familiar landmarks have disappeared. However, some changes could not be avoided as we have tried to consolidate and add more consistency to our design and structure. Of course, we are always on standby to assist if you are having any trouble.
The site will go through some more changes in the coming months as we put into practice what we have been dreaming about, a more approachable and customized experience. Veteran users may not notice these changes, but we want to make the site easier for new users to join and improve the Inclusive Planet experience.
Check out the new design if you have not done so already. And give us your feedback, the good the bad and the ugly.
